TrustPoint Title, an Investors Title Managed Agency, is looking for an Agency Manager to join our new team in Lansing. You’ll oversee all aspects of agency production, client relations, and business growth. If you have experience in title insurance, mortgage lending, or real estate operations, and love leading high-performing teams, this may be the opportunity for you!
Real estate, title insurance, mortgage lending, or legal support experience is REQUIRED.

What You’ll Do:
Business Development
Develop and maintain relationships with owner banks, external lenders, attorneys, builders, and realtors.
Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry best practices.
Participate in professional real estate and mortgage lending organizations.
Work with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and business development strategies.
Operations & Team Management
Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations for agency staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and updates.
Ensure compliance with underwriting procedures, accounting standards, and file maintenance.
Monitor and improve operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery.
Perform underwriting and settlement reviews to maintain compliance.
Search & Settlement Oversight
Oversee title search processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Supervise settlement operations, including loan closings, document preparation, and compliance.
Work with financial teams to ensure proper reconciliation of settlement accounts.
Financial & Compliance Management
Assist ITMS in budgeting, financial reporting, and financial controls.
Maintain acceptable accounts receivable totals and monitor pending files.
Ensure timely turnaround on commitments and final policies.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience: Four-year college degree or equivalent training/experience.
Industry Background: Real estate, title insurance, mortgage lending, or legal support experience REQUIRED.
Leadership Skills: Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience managing teams in a title agency or related field.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business development, budgeting, and financial management.
Communication & Organization: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in industry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility: Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed.
