About the Manager, Event Production Position:

Agency 21 (a21) is seeking an organized team player with a passion for the events and hospitality industry to join our Operations team! The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, both oral and written, is able to adapt on the fly, and can prioritize and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Th is position offers tremendous growth opportunities within a full-service event management, sponsorship and marketing agency that specializes in food and beverage, art, sports and entertainment.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts
  • Create and maintain project timelines and budgets
  • Lead communication with clients, key company stakeholders, sponsors and third-party vendors regarding milestones, status updates and project progression  
  • Lead all planning and production meetings for assigned project s.
  • Collaboration with other departments on event concept, graphic design/production/printing, sponsor needs and event marketing
  • Maintain client relations throughout the year
  • Coordinate pre-event production and logistics for all assigned events including but not limited to, communicating vital information with vendors and exhibitors, compiling rental, printing and disposable orders, cataloging event website updates, researching potential entertainment and talent providers, building floorplans/layouts, and more
  • Help execute on-site event setup and day of execution such as leading volunteers and setup crews, checking in deliveries, coordinating vendor load in and load out, hanging signage, running registration, and managing event talent
  • Work with City and State Departments to submit all required event permits by project deadlines
  • Analyze event data to determine areas of improvement or concern pre, during and post event
  • Ensure all post event task are completed (recap reports etc.)

Skills + Qualifications Needed:

  • 3+ years coordinating meetings and/or events (500+ guests is a plus)
  • 3+ years managing client/vendor relationships .
  • Experience in foodservice, hospitality or entertainment industry
  • Office administration and operations experience
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and accountability 
  • Education: Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time in extreme weather conditions
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the year (up to 40% including some nights and weekends)
  • Experience with Allseated, TicketSauce,  Monday.com , Eventbrite, Excel, and Outlook are a plus
