Position Purpose and Objectives

This position serves as the backbone of the marketing team delivering the support needed to allow the core marketing function to focus on providing value to our customers. This critical role will entail managing end to end marketing processes from planning and budgeting to execution and analysis to maximize results. Manages an organization's marketing objectives, strategies, programs, and policies. Translates and communicates the marketing vision into specific projects, action plans, and tactics. Oversees critical marketing functions to ensure information and support for programs. Establishes data sources and analytical processes to track and evaluate marketing strategies and initiatives. Will head up our events department and oversee from concept to execution large scale industry trade events as well as our own branded events.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage all event and tradeshow execution and follow up; including, but not limited to, registration, all pre and post show activities, communications, lead distribution and management within CRM platform. 
  • Lead all XYMOGEN specific events namely the annual XX and tour program.
  • Oversee the trafficking of all marketing projects across the organization via project management software (Jira); identifying risks that could impact timelines, budget and outcomes. 
  • Own and manage the Digital Asset Management/Product Information Management (DAM/PIM) Software; serving as the subject matter and software expert. 
  • Create and maintain library of all sales collateral to ensure literature is easily accessible. 
  • Provide miscellaneous support to the Amazon and other online partners as needed. 
  • Oversee the process and identification, reporting and follow up of compliance issues in regards to unauthorized resellers.
  • Monitors customer metrics, competitor strategies, and industry trends to enable responsive marketing activities.
  • Run established monthly reports to measure progress against quarterly objectives and maintain reporting dashboard. 
  • Maintain marketing event budget by reconciling and tracking all incoming marketing invoices. May manage vendor selection, contracts, and budgets when outsourcing projects.
  • Assists with planning and developing marketing materials, campaigns, and promotions, and manages schedules and expenditures. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Knowledge of project management software. 
  • Experience with E-Commerce and CRM system a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint. 
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • The ability to juggle competing activities and prioritize appropriately.
  • Champion new processes to drive speed and efficiency across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • College Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in a Marketing Operations or Events Management type role
  • 2-5+ years team management experience
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to adapt to change in accordance with the business needs of the company
