Job Title: Medical Assembler Job Description This role involves the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators. Under close supervision, the candidate will perform assembly, repair, and test operations on medical device assemblies, maintaining accurate job documentation and ensuring all procedures are followed. The position requires effective communication with manufacturing management and a commitment to safety guidelines. Responsibilities Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on medical devices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for cell operations. Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions effectively with all levels of manufacturing management. Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices during operations. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes. Ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate to address quality issues. Support divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems. Set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics with supervisor. Essential Skills Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions. Proficiency in using electronic data collection systems and computer software. Ability to prioritize work effectively. Dexterity to handle and maneuver small components. Ability to make critical decisions with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school degree or equivalent preferred. Candidates must have good hand dexterity and be able to use a microscope. Willingness to learn and take direction. Experience in medical device assembly or packaging is beneficial. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
