Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A Truck Driver / Yard Jockey in Strasburg, VA . In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Safely operating company vehicles while adhering to all federal and state driving regulations.
• Transporting trailers to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner.
• Performing routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety.
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Maintaining accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and any incidents.

Compensation and Benefits

• $23.00 per hour plus a $2.00 night shift differential .

Responsibilities and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A valid Commercial Driver's License Class A.
• Proven experience as a Class A CDL driver with a satisfactory MVR driving record.
• Current DOT Physical and Medical Card.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and industry truck driving rules and regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• The ability to handle long hours and adapt to various weather conditions.
• Physical capability to get in and out of the truck multiple times throughout your shift.
